In this document, this entity is referred to as “BucharestRent”, “we”, or “the Platform”.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
- Website / Platform means the site at https://www.bucharestrent.com, including all sub-pages and features.
- User means any person who accesses the website.
- Client means any natural or legal person who submits a request, creates an account, requests a quote, books a service, or enters into a contract through the website.
- Partner means any owner, agency, mobility provider, driver, transfer operator, concierge provider, or other third party whose services are promoted, listed, or intermediated on the Platform.
- Services means any services offered directly by BucharestRent or through Partners, including without limitation short- or medium-term rentals, premium homes, serviced apartments, villas, airport transfer, car rental, concierge, relocation, and related services.
- Request means any form, message, booking, quote request, or other communication sent through the website.
3. Purpose of the website
BucharestRent provides an online platform through which Users may:
- view information about properties, services, and areas in Bucharest;
- submit information, quote, or booking requests;
- request mobility, transfer, or concierge services;
- interact with informative content, guides, articles, and presentation pages.
Depending on the service, BucharestRent may act: as a direct provider of certain services; as an intermediary / facilitator between the Client and a Partner; or as a presentation and lead-generation platform.
For each specific service, the nature of the contractual relationship follows from the offer, booking confirmation, invoice, separate contract, or official communications sent to the Client.
4. Acceptance of terms
By using the website and/or submitting a Request, the User declares that:
- they have full legal capacity to enter into binding obligations;
- they provide true, complete, and up-to-date information;
- they use the website lawfully and in good faith;
- they accept these Terms and Conditions as well as the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
If you use the website on behalf of a legal entity, you declare that you have authority to bind that entity.
5. Eligibility

8. BucharestRent’s role and relationship with Partners
For some services, BucharestRent may act solely as an intermediary between the Client and the Partner. In those cases:
- data, prices, final availability, and conditions may come from the Partner;
- the contract for the actual service may be concluded directly between the Client and the Partner;
- the Partner may have its own contractual terms, cancellation policies, and rules;
- the Client must read and accept the end supplier’s conditions where they apply.
BucharestRent does not guarantee perfect performance by every Partner and is not liable for acts, omissions, delays, or breaches solely attributable to Partners, except where the law provides otherwise or the service is provided directly by BucharestRent.
9. Requests and booking procedure
Submitting a Request through the website does not automatically mean it is accepted.
The usual flow is:
- The User submits a request or selects a service;
- BucharestRent checks availability and applicable conditions;
- the Client may receive an offer, preliminary confirmation, or request for further information;
- the booking becomes firm only after express confirmation and, where applicable, payment of a deposit, full fee, or signing required documents.
We may refuse a request, including due to unavailability, suspected fraud, display errors, inability to validate data, or non-compliance with Partner or legal requirements.
10. Prices, taxes, and payments
All prices shown on the website are indicative unless expressly stated as firm.
Unless stated otherwise, prices may: include or exclude VAT depending on tax status and service type; exclude security deposits, local taxes, third-party fees, cleaning, delivery, fuel, penalties, or other specific costs; vary by period, availability, seasonality, special requests, or Partner policy.
Payment may be made by the methods indicated on the website or in the offer.
To the extent permitted by law, we may correct material errors in prices, descriptions, or availability, including after a Request is sent, before final confirmation.
11. Deposits, guarantees, and checks
For certain services we may require: advance payment; a security deposit; proof of identity; driving licence, minimum age, or other documents; card validation or anti-fraud checks.
Failure to provide required documents or guarantees may lead to cancellation or refusal of service.
12. Cancellation, changes, and no-show
Cancellation, modification, refund, and no-show rules may differ by: service type; timing of cancellation; Partner conditions; promotional or non-refundable offers.
Unless expressly communicated otherwise, the Client will receive applicable booking conditions before final confirmation.
If no special policy is stated in the offer, BucharestRent may apply reasonable cancellation terms, including retaining administrative costs, deposits, or amounts already owed to Partners.
13. Consumer right of withdrawal
Where the Client is a consumer, statutory rights apply to the extent provided by law. For distance contracts, a right of withdrawal may exist or be excluded depending on the exact nature of the service, timing of performance, and applicable legal category. The relevant framework includes Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 and EU rules on distance contracts.
If the booked service falls within a category excluded from the right of withdrawal, or performance begins with the Client’s express agreement before the statutory withdrawal period expires, the right of withdrawal may be limited or excluded under the law. Before final confirmation, we will communicate, where applicable, information on exercising the right of withdrawal and any exceptions.
14. Intellectual property
Website content (texts, graphics, logos, structure, software, databases, etc.) is protected under applicable law. Copying, distributing, modifying, or exploiting it without prior written consent of the rights holder is prohibited, except as permitted by law.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided “as is”. BucharestRent is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, or damages arising from use or inability to use the website, except in cases of gross negligence or intent where liability cannot be excluded by law.
16. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by force majeure or other circumstances beyond reasonable control, as defined by applicable law.
